Hyler • For Tuesday 11/10

NOTES:   Grades have been posted on Skyward.  If you need help accessing your child's grades, please check with the guidance office. Please make sure your child has a 3-ring notebook that is just for social studies materials. Students applying for the Hiratsuka Exchange Trip should have all materials into Dr. Hyler no later than 3:20 on Monday, November 16. White House Decision Center - Nov. 16 or 17.  The cost of the trip, materials, and simulation at the WHDC is $15.  A letter will soon be given kids and parents in October.  This money will be due by Monday, Oct. 26.  Students will be given the WHDC manual.  We will be doing four modules from this manual prior to our trip.

ASSIGNMENT: WHDC $15 & form is by 11/10 or NO GO.. All incompletes not turned in by Tuesday 11/10 will be changed to a zero. Tuesday 11/10 1-Students are working on pages 14-23 in the WHDC book for Wed./Thur. Wed/Thur and Friday 11/11, 11/12, 11/13 1-Check pages 14-23 2-Do pages 12-13 3-Review which days the kids are going. 4-Hopefully, review parts on Wed/Thur - if not on Friday. 5-Start Truman DVD. Monday 11/16 Hours  2, 5, 8 to WHDC. Tuesday 11/17 Hours 6 & 7 to WHDC Wed/Thur 11/18 & 11/19 - Review WHDC, write articles, do evaluations
