Please make sure your child has a 3-ring notebook  that is just for social studies materials and pencils. All work for this semester is due no later than 3:20 on Friday, December 11. Check your grades on Skyward.  To get a high school credit for the semester, you must have at least a D- for the semester grade.  Check your semester grade for all classes!

Assignment: Reminder:  Some students have asked about retaking the Q1 common assessment for 100 points.  I told them they could (without a coupon) if they did so before or after school (need to schedule with me) or during advisory.  This must be done by Dec. 11. Wed/Thur - All hour to read and take notes on pages 2-10 in their package over Chapters 10-11 in their Civics book. -A few minutes for groups to discuss WHDC writing assignment that was started on Monday. Friday - Notes on pages 2-10 will be due when you walk into class. -Obama speech bonus notes due by Friday 12/4. -More executive branch work will be done in class. -Semester final review sheets will be given out. -Due today via email (lhyler@usd497.org) is the 3 paragraph assignment about the WHDC that was worked on all period on Monday in groups of 3.  One person in each group is responsible to email the finished product to me. Long Range:  Semester final will be 12/16 or 12/17 depending on odd or even day.
