Advanced freshman English----For the week starting Feb. 22

Wednesday and Thursday we are having high tea.  Each student comes dressed as a character in Great Expectations and brings a food item.  This is a fun event.  For the first part of the hour we stay in character, eat, and use the manners of the Victorian period.  Monday we are continuing with Shattering Glass and Friday we are working on poetry.  For homework they will have a poem to consider and the literary terms vocabulary mentioned last week.

Regular ninth grade Englsih

We finished up our haiku project with Marla Jckson on Friday.  On Monday we are starting a poetry unit.
